08/11 - Feels Like Friday!

Rottweilers have a lifespan of 9 to 11 years and also she is sick, she has Cushiings and liver disease and needs my help to get her rear end up and I carry her up stairs (Thats a lot for a 77lb dog). But, I love her to death and will do whatever I need to do to keep her around as long as she is not in pain

It seems you appreciate dogs more when they get old but you are that much closer to losing them so it's a double edged sword. Abby comes in and lays on her bed right beside my favorite couch and I can reach right over and pet and play with her. And, when I am on the computer or watching tv she always either asleep or sitting there watching me
