I went from dancing singing and dancing all week plus a full class schedule plus work to a ventilator down my throat in the span of a week basically. It was crazy and I found out that had my parents not ignored the many, many signs of my mild but treatable GI and hormonal disorders I would have basically always been fine albeit on a few medications and a special diet.

Instead, they ignored doctors concerns, stopped taking me in for checkups, and took me off their insurance cause I was fine, right? What did those doctors know?

Yeah, now my health is so much worse than it should be because my body finally crapped out on me when I was 23 credits away from my degree.

Awesome, would have rather just dealth with mild management years ago.

If you're born with a lung disease that will likely kill you before the age of 25, like my son, that's a pretty good reason to have insurance. Plus you just never know what freak accident might happen. Its good to be prepared either way. Now days an office visit can cost $1000. I dont have that laying around. Preventative care is pretty inportant in most cases. Better to catch things before they get out of hand.

Sigh, my fsh is basically nonexistant. And that was before the years of cortisol steriods that I'm luckily off of now. The chances of my conceiving naturally are little to none and I was literally dumped in the past over that. It's honestly a really big bummer for me at this point in time because Matt and I very much want children and while we are happy to adopt, it would be nice to also make a baby.

Oh well, can't win em all. I get seriously depressed talking about it and the many doctors visits have been unpleasant.
