tbh from what I have googled it sounds like the Canadian stuff is actually decent still. The American Kraft is trash but we have lots of good options like Annie's

 

I make my own with elbow macaroni,Butter, one spoon full sour cream,cheddar cheese and salt. Tastes awesome. If my kids are not eating it I add minced yellow onion and it is even better.
