    if you're already admitting you have a problem now my only advice I can give you is to get help now, before you do shit you really really regret. This is just coming from personal experience, I almost ruined my entire life (and ended it) because of the booze. Gluck man, I wish you the very best.

    Thank you, I do really appreciate it. I'm at that median where I haven't done anything regrettable besides a fight 2 years ago but I also still enjoy it socially. I want to drink socially but also know I enjoy it so much, it's basically soda to me. I'm not sure how to really quit when my favorite thing to do it go out on town to drink(which is the only time I'm really social.)

    you're going to need help, or hit rock bottom. Just from my experience and going through it and also a stint in military rehab (I volunteered myself) where I got to meet a lot of other drunks and addicts. The last time I drank I fucked up so bad I thought I was going to lose my girlfriend, and some other bad shit happened. She stayed with me, bless her, and I love her for it. I also stopped because I knew then if I drank again, she'd walk out of my life.

    What I don't understand is why people try to shit on people that refuse to drink in the first place. I mean you obviously wouldn't ever do that but it happened to me a lot until I turned 21 and people finally believed me at that point.
