Instructions were a little confusing until I started. Was under the impression that there were only 2 out of 4 software versions to compare and rate. The actual task is comparing 2 versions of software, but for 4 different scenarios.

Oof - this one auto-advances and I didn't have the option to "redo" a recording, so that first recording got a whole earful of me futzing around/cussing trying to get everything ready. lol

 

I'm pretty sure that happened to me before with one of these, but I think the requester was Acme something. The hit still approved

Are you all not reviewing the audio after you record it? I feel like I am going at a good clip, but then I see people with 3 minute times and it makes me wonder if I am not just a slow reader, but also a slow talker too.

 

I usually dont bother reviewing unless I think there's a reason

I personally review them all, because I occasionally hear a lot of background noise or I'll catch myself saying something weird. I also do it because I assumed they would reject if we didn't, but I guess that isn't the case

I listen to the first one at least to make sure my mic is recording ok... after that I usually don't unless a loud truck drives by outside or something that makes a lot of noise. Sometimes I have to make sure its recording alright cus my voice is deep and I have to remember to "eat the mic"

 

This is good to know. Might just start skipping some of the smaller phrases like Hey Alexa to test.

Yeah. I have to mute QBC, turn off my A/C, turn off my fan, and pray my neighbors can keep quite for 5 minutes.

 

these hits are going to be killer next week with temps in the high 90s forecasted... ugh, come on September..... I'm ready for fall temps and high hits
