I'm working on a HIT that says it will take 5 minutes, to write 5 brief descriptions, but each description seems to take at least 10 minutes to fulfill the criteria of the question. I can't tell if this is intentionally difficult, or if the requester just has much lower standards than their HIT suggests.

Dear requesters, please have extremely explicit instructions; a handful of examples is insufficient. Assume that your workers will treat the hit as though it were a life and death scenario and have a destructively compulsive need to be 100% accurate in everything they do, and pay accordingly.

Ugh, 55 minutes into the .50 hit I just decided to return it because I hate myself and want to die. What a waste of an hour.

 

For anyone else who was rejected for the wednesday HIT from the requester: International Survey and the HIT title: 8-minutes Survey

I found the qualtrics link - (you'll have to open in incognito) - it has the researcher's email and the institution that sponsored the survey.

Just in case anyone else wants to bring their pitchforks over to the tantrum I'mma throw. (just kidding mostly, it'll be polite)
