08/21 - Thumping Thursday

Is connect really like Prolific? I had an account in the past but I rarely got any studies ( just a few for months on end). I make more on Prolific and Mturk but connect never worked out for me.

 

Experiences can vary on any platform. There's one "testing" platform that I'm on for the past 2 months, and all I get are cheap little tasks occasionally, the lowest of all on that platform, and not very many of them. (Demographics?) — Meanwhile, some others earn far more, up to one participant allegedly "averaging" several hundred dollars weekly on that one platform. Not sure I believe that; but even if true, not every participant is going to reach that level on that platform, and I don't expect to be one who does.

 

I apparently like that word.

Right now at 9:10 PM Pacific time I've got 2 survey invitations on the Connect dashbоard, one of which may be worth my time (and the other might not but I'm giving it a shot anyway).

For me, currently, Connect is a lesser "supplement" vs. Prolific.
Couple days ago I cashed out a few dollars from Connect and was glad to have that "supplement."

Things can change, maybe. Perchance it may be worth taking another look. Not to expect too much, but just to find out if it might give enough to be sometimes worthwhile now.

Not everyone finds Connect to be worthwhile, but checking to see for yourself is the only sure way to know if it'll be worth your time now.
