09/05 Sliding into Saturday

I've seen the stuff you call 'food'.

 

I have gastroparesis and hypopituitarism, so I've been pepetually hypo-all the things since infancy And thus, why my nickname is hummingbird: I'm small, peppy, need sugar water for survival, and I have brightly colored feathers to attract mates. I also get pissed off and try to stab people with my beak...kidding! 90% kidding!

 

It's great until you feel like you are everyone's Grinch they have no appreciation for like "you have to do this" <y7 wife will ask me to go somewhere everyday then ask me why my earnings are down. Or turn it into how I don't make enough and need to do something else...

 

I feel like if a hummingbird ever tried to stab me I would have a hard time not just forgiving it. They are so damn cute

 

You can do it w/ "real" food too ofc. To each his own, but it works way better for me to know what I'm getting is what I want without having to do PITA daily logs.

Bad approach if you think [x] thing is causing [y] problem though, don't know the specifics, but offering an alt approach because I fucking hate logging even w/ apps to ease the process so would go full on book burning with a journal

 

I know how ya feel. Sometimes I feel like I'm just conditioning myself to work my ass off and not expect any praise, reward, or respite. Life sucks sometimes. All I can say is things can always turn around, and a lot of times they do when you least expect it.

 

My favorite is when I work longer or put in more to not hear that then I get Grinched at for "not wanting to spend time with the family" it's like wtf do you want from me?

 

Catch-22, one of my favorite cynical books of all time lol. I am constantly trying to internalize the fact that in this life you will often be damned if you do and damned if you don't.

 

I literally said one day the only way I could do everything that is asked me of and have any time to myself at all would be if there were 2 of me, I really believe that.

For me, it tends to be more when I've accidentally said something harsh or whatnot and the other person gets offended and I need to simmer them down. lol
