I had never seen an armadillo up close until I was looking for Bearnie. I did not know Georgia had them until that moment.

Sigh, no. BUT, just about everyone decent is looking for him and all the people with indoor/outdoor cats are on the lookout and we made friends with the cray cray cat lady who tends to all the strays and ferals so she's on the lookout for Bearnie. She thinks he's hiding somewhere until he feels comfortable. We have coyotes and armadillos and crazy stray dogs so it's likely he's up in a tree, hunkering down. I had never seen him climb a tree until this week, and even then I didn't realize it was him until he started sneezing. The only good thing about this small of a town is that news travels fast and if Bearnie is still MIA, they are going to dedicate part of our town meeting next week to a find Bearnie plan. It's actually very nice how much most of the neighborhood has been happy to let us climb under their houses and all up in their sheds and barns to look for him on a regular basis.

 

If you tell Matt he doesn't get any more sandwiches until he finds the cat, you will have him back in 30 minutes flat. Sandwiches are sacred.

You should look into fixing that when you can.

 

One guy didn't want to let him leave a trap near his barn until he explained how deep in the doghouse he is and how my Bearnie based rage will make the first time the Yankees burned this town to the ground look tame if something happens to my baby.

We have a town ash hole who believes in shooting dogs or cats that wander onto his property ON SIGHT. If he shot my cat, woo, the fire I would rain down on his ass.

Matt almost burnt the house down making soup today guys, it made me think he switched places with @Randomacts brother.

 

If my brother has the ability to clone his brain into other people's minds we are all doomed.

I would have to ask that you wait at least until Tuesday before burning down the state, not to mention there will be much more kindling to fuel the fires.

 

He wanted chicken and stars as a snack, he put it on the stove and walked away. I heard a weird sizzling noise sometime later and find almost all the liquid has boiled off and it's just a bunch of stars roasting on the bottom.

I take it off the stove, ask him if he enjoyed his stars and he goes, "oh shit!"

Then he just ADDS MORE WATER to the stars burnt to the bottom of the pan and tells me, " I'm rehydrating it, LIKE A DAMN ASTRONAUT! IM A BADASS!"

I did enjoy watching him try to eat it while he winced the entire time.
