There are 6 international ones and 2 US ones. The US ones changed on Friday though so that wouldn't be why you haven't caught shit in a few weeks.

I was thinking to myself, How am I going to make my tea this morning? We have the generator hooked up, but I can only string so many extension cords across the house, prolly not worth it to hook the microwave up for just hot water.

It took me longer than I'd like to admit to just use my stovetop. I literally used it yesterday, I'm 100% aware I have a gas range.

I don't believe in any of that hippy free range gas shit. I make sure that my gas is tied up and miserable to ensure even cooking of my food.

I miss having a gas stove.

The highest end electric stoves actually beat out gas but most people that have electric have the cheap shit so :dunno:

I've used some pretty good electric stovetops--my mom had a nice glass one that worked pretty well--but growing up in FL no one has gas. When I first moved to CO last year I had to learn how to use a gas one and now I'm hooked. It just seems to cook things so much more quickly!

Eh, no, I've used a high end electric range many times, and it does not give me the same quality control as a gas range. Now, an electric oven, YES. But gas ranges are the gold standard for a lot of sauteeing/searing type methods. I will always want a gas range.

I was always of the same belief and then I started to use a high-quality induction top and I have a slightly different opinion now.

If you want to heat shit up fast and don't care how, electric works great! Boil that water electric stove! But for even heating....gas range ftw. I'm annoyed that my apartment has gas, but only for the heating and we're stuck with an electric range. the gas line literally runs RIGHT BEHIND WHERE THE RANGE IS, and those bastards didn't bother to hook it up.

The highest end electric stoves benchmark in boiling and heating at much shorter amount of times. Using them is a bit different with not having the heat go up the sides though.

Gas is cheaper than electricity basically everywhere though so if you have the option to use it is obviously the best option because of that.

Yeah I don't think people have used high end electric stuff.

I'm fairly certain that an induction stove has more even heating than gas. I haven't used it much though. @byesaw might know.
