If you're savvy enough you could get the right kind of non Macbook laptop and make it into a Hackintosh. It's like boot camp but reverse. I did it with the laptop I used in high school for a multimedia course since a mac was too expensive for me.

 

@Vanyanka's macbook has a name and it's been suggested to me that the right of people to name, what is truly the best laptop, is a right that should be maintained and respected.

I'm sitting here today listening to Dave go back and forth with this vendor who is missing several thousand of $ in checks that are being mailed out (3 times now) and not reaching the vendor. As the last time they were sent was Aug 9th and they are still not received she would like them cancelled and reissued again

Dave: are you sure the post office doesn't have your checks.
Vendor: I have spoken to the post office and the the Post Master General several time.
They said since my P.O Box is right next to Comcast's P.O box sometimes my mail gets stuck in Comcast's box then it disappears and there is nothing they can do about it.
