I've been trying to get Matt to watch this with me for months! He claims it will suck.

Coming to America is the one where Samuel Jackson has a small part.

 

It's a pretty 80s movie, that stuff is dated. Dan Akroyd wears blackface in it, that's pretty crazy.

 

Also, this is definitely where I picked up the term "jive turkey."

I had a college prof who claimed jive was new slang and I thought he was insane. THE BEE GEES WERE NOT JIVE TALKING FOR NO REASON MAN. THIS ISNT A NEW PHRASE!
