Good idea. I know I have a practically "brand new home" because I have fixed and bought all new appliances, water heater, airconditioner,furance, had to redo the bathroom(due to a water leak), had to replace the kitchen floor(which will have to be redone because the hubby insisted on saving money and it is uneven), put a new awning on the front porch, re concreted the back and front porches and patios, etc ..I have a least $15k if not more in a period of 7 years. Of course I bought a 1950 home from what I have now determined was a slumlord who got tired of rigging stuff up. So you may not have that issue ..lol
