RIght now, the town is sharing a border, so I can go 15 minutes in either direction and hit something completey different- Saturday, I leave my precious mountain for the full on high desert. I'll still be up a couple thousand feet and around a lot of trails and canyons.

I'm looking at this as a hiking plus- I'll be closer to a handful of different trails for the next year! Variety- yay.

It IS weirdly pretty tho. Thank you for noticing. Even when it's super duper brown this time of year, the views are still pretty epic and the sky is so clear its ridiculous. Just, uh, don't stab yourself with a cactus bush, yeah? I've never done that tho. I couldn't say if it hurts. It hurts so much.
