    lol yes exactly. having a thinking map or whatever, then a "sloppy copy", then a final draft. and i was a perfectionist and my handwriting had to be just right on the final draft.

    dumbass me used to do it for funsies in the summer. and i wonder why my hands feel like they're 150 years old these days

    The few teachers who forced drafts only got a sheet with bullet points of main ideas after I gave in the whole essay.

    At my school that was the outline. Which was turned in before the dumb sloppy copy followed by the final draft. All three were graded.

    lol i still call it that in my head. i'll start a to-do list and it gets disjointed, so i think to myself "just my sloppy copy" and re-write it. old habits die hard
