    The last few upgrades we did we went to Best Buy when they had the gift card for trading in an old smartphone with upgrade/new line deal. It cuts the cost down a bit and if you have an older smartphone lying around it makes it a great deal cause you can sell your newer one on ebay. The last upgrade we did, we traded in a 9 year old HTC we had lying around. Just check on their website if they take the phone as a trade-in for that deal.

    They are already advertising the iPhone X on their site but just the small one. They want to finance it and charge interest when Verizon is interest free

    I would wait until next month after the Apple earnings call on the 2nd, they're probably going to discount it a little more and they also usually have some better deals around the "Black Friday" time period/month. I would also check to see if you can get some other discounts, some phone companies will give you discount if you have membership at Sam's/Costco/etc. or depending on where you work. But you usually have to ask for those specifically.
