    Sorry! Currently buying a shirt for the concert I need to go to in two hours or I would be your sacrifice. Turns out I didn't pack a nice enough one.

    It's a real simple tweak I did on OW, I put a condition around the playAlertPreference.
    Code:
                    if (hitObject.Qualified === true) {
                        playAlertPreference(hitObject.Requester); //plays our alert, change the input to hitObject.userName to make TTS say the name of your watcher button\
                    }

    A major code smell is code that has too many comments.

    If everything has to be explained away, it might be the case that the code itself is not as self-documenting as it should be. The variable names might be bad, code might need to be moved into different functions/objects, etc.

    Example:

    Code:
    var su = ["speechObjects"]; //we need a container for out TTS objects, so when we have multiple names show up on the same interval each get's it's own place in the array
    Why create a two-letter variable name, and then write a novel in the comments explaining what it is?
    And then we have to remember and keep track of a bunch of variables with this same naming philosophy.

    It's easier to follow the code throughout if the variable's name just describes itself.

    That is simply falsehood. He knows that his code will be read by people that barely know what javascript is and that is why it is heavily commented.

    Not only is it a truth, but it's also a well-known truth in every programming community.

    Over-commented code is a code smell.

    Lots of communities have memes that are wrong. It is also rare that your code will be read by people that barely know code at all in other instances.

    I appreciate @Ethraiel 's excessive use of comments. I've been able to slightly change some things around because of it, otherwise I would have been 100% lost.

    I did two. One was on foreign accents, one had reversed audio and you had to tell if two clips were the same speaker. Are those the two you're seeing?
