Are shinies really that easy to get in Pokemon Go? In all my years of playing the actual games I've only caught like 3 shinies.

For a three hour window, one pokemon a month gets massively increased spawns and a rate of 1/25.In general the rate is like 1/512.

So still like 10x more likely on a 1 for 1 basis, but you can't run through he same patch of grass in pogo either.
