IIRC, they were having people install metadata to the sites to prove they owned those sites, just like Google does.

This looks more like a tech issue email than anything else IMO.

 

Have you considered asking the real owner, @Girl Polar Bear, to file on your behalf?

 

If you can use Facebook advertising with an affiliate link, that would be a pretty dope set up. I had no idea. There's this Facebook group I belong to that it's just a girl who shares clothes she buys on Amazon and people eat that up. I knew obviously she was profiting from affiliate, but I had no idea it's 5% of the whole cart. She's got to be making a damn fortune. There's 40k members who are ridiculously active.

 

Google's method is so simple. I called associates support # and the lady had no clue what to do. She said she'd put in a tech support ticket and they'd email me back.

They emailed me a form letter saying I could create a new associates account. I gave up at that point lol.

 

No, using Facebook ads (or any PPC ads) with an affiliate link is a no-no.

But you can go Facebook Ad -> Facebook Page/Group/Website/Etc. -> Affiliate Link.

You just have to add one step in the middle.

 

They're lucrative, but hard to get into.

You have to do a separate approval process for each international site, and the only Amazon site I've been able to retain is the US one. All the others turned me down.

 

My determination has returned.. time to sign up for a new associates account because I haven't pounded my head into a brick wall in a while over 10 cents. Thanks @Totally Not ,

Chicks make BANK by being the admin of those mommy-coupon-groups, sharing dumb little daily deals. Especially around this time of year. All it takes it getting someone to click your stupid little $5 shirt before they decide to blow $10,000 on a wedding ring for a Christmas surprise on Amazon (I get to see depersonalized purchase data as an affiliate, so I can say for certain that there are people who do that kind of thing).

I also know that people get turned down on their proposals, because I get paid 60 days behind, and see the returns subtracting from my earnings in my dashboard.
