actually..no effing idea!........few years ago in the summer they changed the rates and many folks had to re-verify. I got lost in the shuffle I guess.... I talked to them on the phone many times and emailed payments etc. No one seemed to know. For the first time in at least a year, I emailed them last night just for the frill of it. I asked why I was suspended. An hour later I got an email back that said "go here and re-verify"...so I did. BOOM! I was back in....It was amazon payments that was suspended....not my mturk account. I am very happy that I still have my 70,000 hits and Masters!...and I made 6 bucks today...Hah Hah!

 

I see a large purple circle that indicates a perfect matching of supply and demand.

But what do I know, I'm using my gaming monitor with terrible colors right now.

 

That isn't purple.

 

Why have I been quoted?!

 

I have BlurBusters' custom firmware installed for my monitor with a strobe time of 0.1ms.

The colors are so desaturated from the short strobe that I have digital vibrance turned up to 100% to get any semblance of color back.

Everything kinda looks like what you'd expect from a normal monitor if you ran everything through the "Posterize" filter on Photoshop.

 

What have I found.

With any of my other monitors, I have to slow down from the ~4000px/sec range down to the ~300px/sec range for things to even start to become comfortably readable. When I play fast-paced games, I can see tons of detail where other people literally just see a blur. It's probably why I get so many hackusations.

I'll be glad to finally have another option when I want slow-moving or stationary things to look really really pretty though.

No, because IPS has higher latency than TN.

Sure, you get a bunch of frames, but it's pointless if the latency is ridiculously high.
It's like using a high-bandwidth satellite connection for gaming (not as drastic with latency, obviously, but the same idea).

IPS monitors are also more blurry than TN monitors since the pixels retain more of their former settings between frames.

 

Modern IPSs can have low input lag if that is what you mean.

 

#1 - The best IPS is nothing compared to the best TN in this realm, and
#2 - You still have the blur factor to consider. 144fps is pointless if the pixels from the previous frame pump haven't been fully discarded.
