I don't game enough to care about that and when I do game it is RPGs so I just go for color accuracy over everything else.

I should really be packing, and not squealing on people with solar panels.
After all, the move is in three days.
Holy shit, I move in three days.
GUYS. I'M MOVING IN THREE DAYS.

I think it is officially time to panic.

No, Smile and Associates are mutually incompatible with each other.

You can think of Smile as basically always clicking an affiliate link for the charity of your choice as the last-clicked affiliate before placing your order.

Like @Randomacts said, Smile prevents affiliates from being paid.

I like my monitor. There are many monitors like it, but this one is mine.

    Yep, that's fair enough.

I snipe in the upper ranks of a lot of competitive FPS games, and play a lot of Osu, so having a zippy monitor for fast reaction time is important to me.

But for my other screens, I'd much rather have a high pixel density and pretty colors.

Which brings us full-circle on why I'm so excited to have another monitor with colors that actually look decent and a resolution I can fit a lot of work into at once.

Not if you do it that way, you'd have to click a smile affiliate link.
You can go to smile.amazon.com/?tag=affil and the affil gets credit.

They always used to be mutually incompatible, but they might've changed something.
This isn't something I've kept up on, and Associates does change its terms fairly frequently.
But as far as I know, if it does actually work to give the affiliate credit, the charity won't receive the donation. It's one or the other.

There isn't anything wrong with miners in websites if done correctly. In fact the latest version of coinhive will not run unless you hit the play button. The advertisement trackers that many sites run already use a lot of cpu cycles if you don't block them so I don't see the problem with instead having javascript mining for them.

All I know is that if you keep that link on a "donate" page, you probably won't be approved and it'll be irrelevant anyway lol.

That falls under "encouraging clicks" which is against TOS, and they'll see it right away since they check your referral URLs.

Most forums who do well with Associates just work by auto-converting any product links its users post into affiliate links for the forum owner.

    https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/help/node/topic/202049200

It even says if you're part of both programs you can earn on both from the same link. I called and asked months ago when I first tried to sign up and they sent me there :dunno:
Doing the auto-post convert is what got me declined the first time. They saw a bunch of random people posting my affiliate link and said "whoa, they don't own this website" and declined the account LOL

Not far at all, 25 minutes. Into a house that I've owned for seven years already. I've been renting it out to my ex-boyfriend for the last several years.

My boyfriend and I will be moving into a much better living situation, and I will finally be getting a toxic and stress-inducing person out of my life... but it is going to be much, much more financially stressful. I am losing a source of income, and gaining a lot of new bills and things that need money thrown at them. But he and I will finally have our own place together and a lot more space than we have had for the last few years. I'm embarrassed to say, but we've been sharing a bedroom in his mother's house for much too long, due to generally tough times. Now that turking is becoming more lucrative for me, and his business is taking off, it is time to take the leap.

We're intending to renovate and then sell. Then we can move on with our lives and choose a path together, instead of continually dealing with each others' ill-advised past decisions. The way I see it, this move is a matter of tying up loose ends and taking back control over my life. Time for full-on grown up mode.

Moral of the story, it's never too late to turn your life around. But jesus it is terrifying.
