If you have an android phone and you haven't checked out SoundWire yet it might be useful for you and it is why I love TTS alerts for mturk.

While you don't need to go as crazy as I do and sleep with it going to your phone to wake you up it is useful for when you cook or well any reason that you could be away from the computer. We all know that there are certain batches that it would totally be worth dropping what you are doing and running to work on it. I am talking $40/hr+ batches that you will build up in your overwatch or hit finder include list.

Could never get soundwire to work consistently. I just turn the volume waaay up.

 

If you live near a microcenter though I highly suggest looking at their shit for computer stuff. They have great deals.

 

Was it an issue with your home wifi network not being good enough? Otherwise you could email the dev about the issue that you are having and you should get a response. I've reported bugs to him in the past.

Most people when they see 150 pins..lets panda these and do them right away! Me : I got one but I want to go watch Tv (and move all my junk) plus put new sheets on the bed 1st..I am my own worst enemy sometimes..

 

There are obviously similar apps for iOS but I just don't know the names of them. The main thing that is nice that you can just carry your phone to whatever room. I am for example guilty of bringing it into the bathroom when I shower and running out of the shower when overwatch yelled that a $60/hr batch dropped.

 

oh btw of any newbies are lurking this is the sort of thing I normally help people with. I would much rather teach you guys how to improve your workflow then give spoon feed you by saying what batch has been dropping the past few weeks ect.

Teach a man to fish or something like that.

 

I had a similar thing for Canon (without a rational reason like a photographer's recommendation or research) but I pushed down the doubts that crept up in my head and bought the Canon anyway. I still can't explain what I was thinking except to say marketers are good at what they do.

 

I don't think it was a wifi issue. It's been quite awhile, maybe I'll give it another go. Not much going on now anyway.

 

The free version is just as functional as the paid with the only difference that it nags you to buy the full version with an audio byte every hour or so.

 

I started at midnight yesterday because new devil kitty loves the night more than me and am still going.

It can get very frustrating for a while. Try not to waste too much time on hits that waste too much time.

One of these days! I think my biggest thing is I need to build up my list of batch requesters I'll work with. I literally only started doing them when I joined here (outside of A9's), so I'm basically just getting the hang of what is and isn't worth it. I'm still under my one year mark for Turk and doing pretty good for a relative newbie, so I can only imagine my earnings are gonna keep going up the longer I stick at it and the more I learn. Maybe I will ask Bezos for an annual review.

 

Don't worry, I plan on asking Bezos for this with my annual review too.
