knew that would pull you out of the wood work Yep, hour long "discovery" flight on a Piper Archer out of Northeast Phila tomorrow a 4. He hasn't had a chance to fly in about 5 years so he's super excited. He's a mechanical engineer who works about Boeing and wants nothing more in life than to get his pilot's license (but the money ran out before he could - and mild anti-depressant use makes getting his medical a huge expensive PITA - one day he'll get it if it's the last thing I do, I'll turk my way to his flying lessons lol)

edit: truth be told, I"m terrified, I've never been in a small plane before, especially with my husband flying it!

Avast is refusing to let me onto the DARPA site due to "privacy errors" on both firefox and chrome. I added the url to the exceptions list and it's still happening. I tried removing the s from https and it isn't working (someone suggest that for zoltars). I want my easy money from playing with government toys!

edit: chrome is saying the following when I click on advanced to try to just force my way there:

Oh man, that sounds like fun! I have a soft spot for any Piper cause we have Cubs (Baby Bear and Brother Bear baha). ME's are just the the best. It's never too late to finish a pilot's license, a lot of the guys at the airport didn't until they were older, we are by far the young ones, so tell the hubby not to sweat it cause there is always time. Make sure to take some pictures.

That's gotta be a false positive (a most fun HIT). Might need to adjust your AV settings.
