I wasn't, I was being serious. My speeds are down like 30% from last month with all kinds of issues

 

I'm actually getting the speed, if not faster, than I'm paying for now. So, I feel your pain on being pissed about things. I was paying for 75 and never getting it, and half the people I talked to didn't understand why I was so pissy about it.

You go harass those people till you get the speed you are paying for my dude!

I'm still pleased as punch to have 100 when I pay for 100, because I can finally work, stream music, and not have my turking fucked up because Matt is simultaneously watching netflix and dirtbike vids on his phone.

I had a legit meltdown cause our connection was so fucked in Georgia that he would be watching netflix, and my remote desktop shit for work would fuck up. And he would not stop watching netflix. I seriously almost killed him.

I used to have symmetrical 40/40 available at my old apartment, and I'd take it again in an instant over the 100/5 I have right now. Upload bandwidth is almost never an advertised value (because it's usually pretty terrible), but beyond a certain point, I think it makes a much bigger difference than additional download bandwidth does.

Please, it's Comcast and they cover themselves by saying speeds up to. It's just frustrating when you have something one month and not the next.

When I was in Mass I had Verizon and they had 100/100 I loved it. I just hope that my plan doesn't change to a capped download plan as I've had too many month with more than 1TB downloaded.

Better than I've had most of this year on the road.
Oregon McDonalds' have around 0.1Mbps (yes, 1/10th of 1Mbps) on average, and boot you frequently.
Starbucks might give you 5-10, depending on the town and location. Every once in a while, you'll find a public library that will give you 20. That's basically your best bet on the road.

 

We just got the 6 about a year ago. Before that it was 3, and when we moved here 7 years ago it was 1.8.

And I get it, but we're paying like $50 a month to get what you could get close to or better for free.

So, just saw sideways hail for the first time. Whoo hooo cold front. Hubby is now pulling a tree limb out of the road that has people having to back out of our road when they see it, and thankfully the rain let up enough that they actually can see it.
