I feel like Worker is loading something synchronously that WWW either didn't load at all or loaded asynchronously.

Something makes me think that the architecture of React and the way they implemented it on Worker makes it prone to render-blocking while it waits for assets. But this is just based on only having gone through 1/4 of a React course and having a basic understanding of how React works and the problem it's meant to solve.

 

With sufficient CPU power and internet bandwidth this shouldn't make a difference.

 

I mean, we're talking about pretty small differences in load time here. We're talking about the difference between a ~$15/hr. ceiling on CIs vs an ~$18/hr. ceiling on them. It doesn't take too many milliseconds to go from one to the other for a $0.01 HIT.

 

Underneath it all we're just https.

 

Was going to respond, but I see that you are joking.

I thought it loaded HITs slower because it's grabbing the info from www. Can't wait until the HITs that don't run in an iframe are inaccessible because worker can't do that.

 

Hopefully they will, and I cannot wait.

Time for everyone to go back to the stone age /selfish CT

 

I'm actually a little excited as a script writer, since it means some of the workflow tools I've wanted to make will be easier to write, and I won't be at a competitive disadvantage for writing them the single-platform way.
