Like others have said it could be that you pulled something, but most likely is a spider or other insect bite. You should have it checked out and they will likely give you a round of antibiotics to prevent/treat infection.

 

Waste CPU cycles? AFAIK it'll always return its inputted value, but I'm not a math dude so I can't do it in my head beyond 5 or so.

 

In the past I've been able to submit some "stuck" jlo by following @ChrisTurk howto. If it didn't work for you, the easiest thing is to do the whole HIT once again.

It's redundant since Javascript has a much better version as part of its standard library, but it does actually accomplish something meaningful.
