    Oh yeah, definitely. I meant a brown roux. White roux is a much shorter thing. Brown roux needs the flour taste slowly cooked away.

    It's always been pretty hit or miss with the PFAs. I think the bigger issue is that more people are doing them than there used to be.

    True dat bb doll. I kinda do it in reverse with certain things too. I do the garlic/onions first then add in extra fat, then sprinkle the flour in.

    With brown roux, I just pour a glass of wine and settle in LOL.
