    Well, I finally got a confirmation from Dell that they did, in fact, get my order, and did decide to actually try to charge me for it, so now it's only 5-30 days until I get what I've been trying to order for a couple of weeks :?I

    I mean, you'd think that the third largest manufacturer of computers would have a system by which they could exchange the computers they produce for customer's money without involving sixteen people and 4 languages, but one step at a time I suppose.

    In the end I wound up talking to a nice csr middle manager from Visakhapatnam who barely spoke a word of English but for some reason was able to speak totally fluent French, so that was how it all eventually got sorted, and they discounted my order, so I guess I shouldn't complain too much.

    I have been keeping a low profile cause I got my ram, but it was the wrong ram- that's what I get for listening to my roommate tech guy who ignored something I said was important- have 2 tech roomies and they go at problems from different angles- always butting heads and disagreeing and I am caught in the middle- anyway, bummed about the ram, sent it back- going to order more but that is why I haven't left any reviews on TV or been here much- still can only have a few tabs open and even then Firefox crashes- sometimes Chrome also- need that ram.     After working with their small and medium business group - and getting like 10 sales reps in 18 months, no, no I wouldn't. It may actually be a small miracle you got it sorted out at all. I despise Dell because of how often I had to deal with them in that job.
