This post just made me realize I've been logged out for an hour.

 

I always do chat support on anything I can. If I call i'll feel bad if i'm the slightest bit mean, but put me on a keyboard and i'm not afraid to be the world's rudest Grinch

 

Not that i have found..when u find one let me knowww..enhancer only shows todays projected..not likenwe had before for pending approval...i miss is sooo much

 

Exactly! The last time it happened, I had a very stern conversation with a chat person who kept fucking with me, then eventually deflected and said she couldn't make any changes and that someone would call me. Someone called and was like "I'm just looking over your chat transcript... OKAY WELL it looks like we're putting you into this plan..." I'm generally super nice to service people because I know they're just doing their job, but sometimes you have to play their game to let them know you aren't taking the BS.

 

Like, when I call i'm basically "Oh, ok, I understand, sorry for bothering you", but then on chat support i'm "Oh hellll no, none of this "I can't do that" business, i'm gonna tell you what you're going to do, and you're going to do it, capiche?"

 

That was me the other night to the Amazon chat help. They transferred me twice, but I got it resolved, with 1 day shipping for free, and a $10 credit.

 

Omg they are the ones I go at the most. But I refuse to take those credits because they're stupid, I make them add a month to my prime instead.

 

Me exactly. The lady on chat kept asking me what tv channels I wanted, then would be like, "I can give you this one but not that one unless you're under whatever more expensive plan." I was like, dude, lady, I'm looking at the same link you sent me that shows those are under the same package! She kept dicking me around, obviously just to play their game, but it's so much easier to find my spine when it's not on the phone. I'm so timid and scared on the phone that I'd basically throw money at them to get off the phone quicker. "You're saying $100 a month? How about I pay you $120? K SORRY BYE" Luckily, being stern with the chat lady told the lady on the phone not to fuck with me. Which is hilarious, because I'm the least intimidating person on the planet, but it made me feel cool for once.

 

The team on reddit is good so you don't actually have to be mean lol

 

I should prob go to bed... my typing is getting worse.

 

Now if only I lived in a town with a population high enough to deserve companies that were cool enough to have a reddit

Dude honestly I think TV companies should just like say "Pick 20 channels for $10" or some shit like that. I get soooo many channels i'm never going to use just to get the ones I want.
