12/26 - Mainly Observing Monday!

I want to upgrade to a Nighthawk or something but cannot justify that. And already been through enough song and dance with comcast. Somehow my account shows it was opened nearly 2 months before I moved so I lose 2 months of my discounted rate and there is nothing that can be done, even on the corperate end apparently. Plus a ton of billing issues that was like pulling teeth to get fixed. Also had them come out for something before that was their fault and was STILL charged for it and told by multiple people basically to just deal with it because their tech put it in the system wrong (again the laziness and stupidity that exists down here).... bleh now I am just ranting and hijacking the thread unintionally...

Need to find some kind of batch, have not found one on my own since early oct (taking into account the 2 months I couldn't even partially turk)... just to contribute more than conversation here lol

 

Gross.. and I bet that comcast is your only option for an ISP (I only have comcast here as well or I would be with basically any other ISP)

 

Well I broke $4 PE for the day. Considering I didn't really get to do much turking until about an hour ago I'll take it.

 

YEP... I miss the days of options. When I lived in Maryland I was actually part of the trial rollout of Verizon Fios in 2006... that was a dream.... if we end up moving like one Parish (county) west/south we can have Suddenlink again. Far better than Comcast but that requires moving and I HATE moving as much as I hate trying to do Scout It hits...

 

It is sad that one of the first things I look at when considering a place to live at is how the ISPs are. Comcast is 'okay' here.. I could actually get the 2gigabit plan here if I felt like spending three arms and ten legs a month on it... But if I lived a few miles away I could pay $60/mo for gigabit

I just went to test it and I forgot that reqid has to be gotten differently when you accept a HIT so it broke the export (fixing it now), but yes it will be there as long as this is available
