when you have risen from the ashes of the holiday cold and the rest of the household just stepped into the grave

 

ok how do you parents do it? Naptime got skiped for us adults because we drove somewhere really far away for the mornng, and now it's 10 pm and I'm so tired I want to sleep for a month....and they're going to be up at 7:30 tomorrow morning....

HOW DO YOU SURVIVE!!!?!?!

 

Reason #2324 that I don't want kids

 

It's barely 10 PM, you can still get a full 8 hours. Waking up early isn't as bad as people make it out to be, anyway.

I mean, we get thrown in the deep end with them, we don't see them for months at a time, and then we see them for 4 jam packed days, and all of a sudden one of them is talking now and the other can play freakin board games! (Jr Monopoly is just as awful as full length monopoly btw).

I'm sure if you start with a baby who sleeps 80% of the time, maybe you build up a tolerance to it?

 

This ties back into my "maybe if you grow up with it, it's easier thing"....my body still runs on adult turker time, I'm physically tired, but my brain isn't going to turn off until midnight....and I've found I need a depressing 10-11 hours of sleep to function without caffeine.

 

If you can't function without caffeine, maybe you should consider cutting back on the caffeine in your life because that doesn't seem very healthy.

 

...did anyone else only have to do 2 photos per hit in that Pin batch that just dropped?
