    Hey Dan! Nice to see you around even if just for a few minutes. I'm not really dieting per say mostly a health thing. Pretty much like you mentioned I ignored a history of health issues from both sides of my family and ended up getting smacked by them and finding out I was a diabetic (a pretty bad one at that when I was diagnosed). I found that out by literally bleeding behind the eyes so...I took it fairly seriously, lol. Despite my joking here I really didn't eat that badly before I found out and I've always had great test results before...the doctor basically said genetics finally caught me.

    So now I get injections in my eyes every 6 weeks to try and fix the eye issues and I decided to do a massive diet change across the board. I'll check out those premixed packages though thanks for the recommendation. I'm always looking for ways to change things out with healthier options.

    My standard currently is bananas, apples, greek (plain) yogurt, and kale. For the liquids, I usually do half black coffee and almond milk (or all coffee because sometimes it be that way). I have a discount grocery store in my area that sells marked-down produce so I also just grab whatever is on sale and chop and freeze it. Lately, it's been frozen peaches/pears as a little extra flavor thing.

    I also just picked up this bag of frozen cherries which is really nice too...so far the only bad thing I've tried is frozen blackberries. It tasted fine but I guess they refused to blind properly or something and I would get hard bits in my smoothie.

    Stupid crunchy smoothie.

    I guess I really don't have a standard thing now that I read all of this...I just toss everything in a blender and hope it's edible.

    I have never considered putting coffee in a smoothie! I feel like you've just changed my life. I will have to try kale. I just never have, and I'm a pretty adventurous eater, so I should just do it.
