Hey all! Been lurking your lovely forum here for a few weeks so now I'm signing up. I've been a turker on and off for the last couple of years. I'd originally signed up way back when to help locate a missing family in satellite photos for free and never went back to it because I didn't know what it was really. Then I happened on an explanation where I could make money doing this so really started in 2015. I turked enough to make the amount of money I needed to buy the parts for a new computer I was building and then basically stopped. I've started up again this year because I need to pay off a loan that I had to take out to bury my father. My daily goal is $7 but lately I've been really trying to hit $12 or $13 as a little extra for that fabulous credit card bill.

Anyway, this is probably too long at this point but hello! It's nice to be here.

It was totally because of that I have to admit (even though I was thinking of signing up anyway). I just didn't want to look at that message all day during my workday.

Thank you. I really do appreciate that. It's been a hard few months but I'm starting to get it together again. The scripts are a little different from what I was using back in 2015 so I've kinda been feeling my way through MTS. I'm still not totally familiar with it yet. It also sucks that I can't install it on my work computer (I work a full-time job) so there is that.

Hmm, I'm not sure if it works with extensions, but I know other folks have used a USB drive w/ a portable version of Chrome. Depending on your job (obviously its a huge security concern in some sectors) you might be able to get away with it worth a mention at least!

 

Yeah, there's absolutely no way I could get away with that at my work. So I manually refresh like a plebe.
