To be more specific my question is about the ms settings for HIT Catcher. I see that it says to not enter a value lower than 500 but when I do that it feels like I never catch anything. So if I were to enter a value lower than 500 would it run at that speed or not? I typically have between 4 - 6 running at a time if that helps at all.
Amazon does not like too many page requests and will throttle you. You are better off at 1000ms, maybe 900ms. Also, keep in mind that HIT Catcher sends requests in order. So if you are running 1 HIT at 1000ms, that is 1 request every second. If you are running 4 HITs at 1000ms, that first HIT has to wait 3 seconds to send another request. The more HITs you have loaded in Catcher, the less likely are you to catching anything if its scarce.
